Work in Progress

Houdini was used to create the shattering glass effect. A chunk of the monitor was loaded, and split into individual pieces. Each fragment emits a particle in a semi-random direction, then follows that particle. The effect is then saved to a series of OBJ files to bring into Maya (with the fileInterp.mel script).

The Floor. This will serve as the base scene for all the animated shots. It took 8 minutes to render this....
Partially textured & lit environment. More of the same, with a few extras.
The face with color and specularity maps applied. Still needs adjustments, and a bump map. Ears, too.
Two screenshots of the nearly finished models for the room.
The first test render for the environment. A one hour keyboard / monitor / desk, modeled in Lightwave. A shot of the main character, showing the low-polygon cage used to create the smooth surface.
